This precious book contains selections from the Words (Sözler), one of the foundational volumes of the Risale-i Nur Collection. The full Words consists of 33 sections, and The Short Words includes ten of these, offering foundational spiritual insights through simple and compelling analogies.

The First Word presents the deep significance of beginning every action with remembrance of Allah, explaining its wisdom through an illustrative parable. It reveals the immense value of a practice that is a prominent symbol of Islamic faith.
