Founded in 2009, the Malaysia–Türkiye Cultural Association (MTCA) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering cultural, educational, and intellectual relations between Malaysia and Türkiye. The primary mission of MTCA is to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries through cultural exchange, scholarly activities, and community engagement.

One of MTCA’s main areas of focus is the study and dissemination of the works of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, particularly his monumental collection, the Risale-i Nur Collection (Risale-i Nur Kulliyatı), which offers profound insights into Islamic spirituality, ethics, and philosophy. Recognizing the importance of making these teachings accessible to a wider audience, MTCA is actively involved in translating the Risale-i Nur into the Malay language, thereby introducing Said Nursi’s thought to the Malay-speaking world.

Through the organization of seminars, conferences, publications, cultural events, and educational collaborations, MTCA strives to bridge cultural divides and encourage dialogue grounded in shared values such as faith, ethics, and compassion. Through these efforts, the association contributes to a deeper appreciation of Islamic thought and spirituality in contemporary society, while also strengthening the long-standing historical and cultural bonds of friendship between Malaysia and Türkiye.
